Introduction

This is the name of the new currency: Quadrimundo! A fourfold world currency.

The time of a single currency should come to an end and give way to this poly-currency. Almost every problem caused by humans are now in the mono currency, which has been around for 6,000 years. That changes with these 4 money siblings, totally different in their respective character, and thought for Mundo, our earth, for the future of the earth!

Resource Account

A currency is already complicated, how should it be only with four? The introduction of the quadrimundo 4-resource currency goes hand in hand with the opening of a personalized resource account per person, similar to a checking account and a savings account. In the best case, this applies to each of the 7 billion inhabitants of the earth and to each new one.

This account is divided like the currency. For each of the 4 currencies and thus resources a separate subaccount is maintained. There is thus an account humanis, aqua, carbo and terra. The currencies aqua and terra are subscription rights, and carbo’s rights of consumption and pollution. The humanis account is the social and general currency.

At the beginning of each year, the annual subscription rights, terra and aqua, are credited, as well as the annual consumption and pollution rights, carbo. The subscription rights and the pollution rights reduce rationing due to the limited resources available and / or the harmful emissions to be adversely affected. The benchmark for this must be the performance of our earth, with regard to its ability to produce water and renewable resources on the one hand, and its receptivity on the other hand, such as pollutants such as CO 2.

The annual allocations may therefore be subject to fluctuations. Dividing the respective total or maximum amounts by the number of the earth population results in an average amount per person. This average value is used as the underlying in the calculation. The actual allocation is subject to individual characteristics justified by the individual and to superior national or social characteristics. An annual approach is considered useful as the period is manageable, covers life rhythms, production and harvest times, and social processes. Too long a period would make it difficult to budget and classify, complicating life dilemmas too short a period of time.

Annual reference and pollution rights can therefore be adapted to agricultural harvest quantities and precipitation amounts. In addition, current results of science and administration can be included in the respective calculations, e.g. required reductions in greenhouse gases. Thus, each person receives on 01.01, each year a corresponding credit to their resource account. These quantities, which on the one hand are needed for a decent life and on the other hand can be allocated within the framework of the sustainable possibilities of the earth, must be determined by a world-wide organization that is parity-wise and democratically legitimized. At present, this task would most likely be provided by the WHO or the UN, or by way of example when it comes to climate gas emissions from the agreement of a world climate summit. Due to the assignment not in absolute values, e.g. in liters of drinking water per year, but in a money supply of the respective resource currency, it remains possible to make adjustments of quantities via price structures and similar established financial instruments. This also applies to quantitative and qualitative considerations.
